How Do You Celebrate Your Transfer Students?
We encourage you to celebrate transfer students this week by joining the National Institute for the Study of Transfer Students (NISTS - https://www.nists.org/). Transfer students face unique challenges in their pursuit of a degree, and this is a great opportunity to learn how we can encourage these students. Become a transfer champion by supporting transfer students and raising awareness of their importance to our institutions.
National Transfer Student Week with NISTS
NISTS celebrates National Transfer Student Week (NTSW) on October 16 – 20, 2023. The theme this year is FULL STEAM AHEAD! The NISTS website provides ideas, resources, and a marketing kit to get you started (https://www.nists.org/national-transfer-student-week).
FULL STEAM AHEAD for Transfer Students
Join NISTS and institutions across the county to celebrate and champion transfer students. NISTS provides a marketing kit with NTSW FULL STEAM AHEAD graphics you can use on your website, social media, flyers, and presentations. The images are editable so you can create a campaign specifically for your institution (https://www.nists.org/national-transfer-student-week).
